| LDHA

Lactate dehydrogenase A (LDHA) is an enzyme encoded by the LDHA gene. It is a monomer of lactate dehydrogenase B, existing as a tetramer. The other major subunit is lactate dehydrogenase B (LDHB). LDHA catalyzes the interconversion of pyruvate and L-lactic acid, while simultaneously catalyzing the interconversion of NADH and NAD+. It is present in most somatic tissues, though predominantly found in muscle tissue and tumors, and belongs to the lactate dehydrogenase family. LDHA levels are elevated in many cancers compared to normal tissues.

| Recovery

The recovery of Pig LDHA spiked at three different levels in samples throughout the range of the assay was evaluated in various matrices.

| Linearity

Samples were spiked with high concentrations of Pig LDHA and diluted with Universal Diluent to produce samples with values within the range of the assay.
